AMANDA TAYLOR
Amanda Taylor is a multi-media artist from the Kootenay/Boundary region of BC, known for her bold use of color, intricate details, and immersive visual experiences. With a background in acrylic and watercolour painting, she brings her unique style to life through live painting performances, gallery exhibitions, and festival art installations across British Columbia.
Artistic Style
Inspired by the "baddie aesthetic" and femme fatale themes, Amanda's work is both powerful and captivating. She incorporates blacklights and UV neon paints to transform her pieces into dynamic, glowing experiences, elevating the atmosphere at festivals such as Electric Love, Wicked Woods, Shambhala, and Fireside Festival.
Beyond the Canvas
Beyond her festival art, Amanda is also skilled in sign painting, lettering, and chalkboard art. As a proud member of the local Métis community, she actively volunteers her time and is working on a new public mural to celebrate Métis culture in her region.
